Saturday May 31, 2025 The College Park Center at UT Arlington saw the Dallas Wings face the Chicago Sky. The WIngs celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander(AAPI) Heritage Night.
May was chosen as AAPI Heritage Month in the United States to honor the first Japanese Immigrants to come to the US in May 1843. And for the anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad in May 1869. Most of the people who laid the tracks were Chinese Immigrants.
The celebration lasted throughout the evening with fan activations, celebrating business owners , and cultural dances.

The Wings faced the Sky without their number 1 draft pick, Paige Bueckers, who is out for two games due to concussion protocol. After a hard fight the Wings fell to the Sky with a score of83-94. NaLyssa Smith(No.1) led the Wings with 20 points, DiJonai Carrington(No21) with 16 points, and Arike Ogunbowale(No.24) with 15 points. Next the Dallas Wings will battle the Seattle Storm at the Climate Pledge Center in Seattle, Washington. Their next home game will be at the Park on Friday, June 6,2025.
